Thinking about Adam who passed away, September 10, 2005 at the age of 6

Hi - If you are reading this it is the first time I have blogged in a long time. Now I am interested in blogging more.

Today I am thinking about a precious little boy who lost his life to cancer 4 years ago tomorrow...he was only six. We began this foundation because of what I grew up in as a child and because we met a precious little six year old boy named Adam who loved to sing country music too.

I think of him often and Adam's light and smile continues to shine upon children who have been abused and those fighting cancer.

If we can be of any help to these children at all, my prayer is that it will allow me to be a strong advocate through speaking and singing to bring more awareness to continued child abuse and childhood cancer.

Soon we will begin writing a book about my childhood and focus on the great things that God has done and continue to do. We will also focus on what happens with child abuse and what happens to families dealing with a child with cancer and how we can be a strong encouragement to them as we go through this life.

Children are such a gift and should be treated as gifts....Hug your children today and thank God for them....and remember, your child is never too big or too old to hug!

Hi Everyone!!

Welcome to my blog site. I look forward to updating it on a daily basis. This is a great way to keep people posted on all the happenings with the children's foundation and how my music and speaking has taken a whole new turn since the foundation was started. The Adam Turner Foundation is all about reaching out to abused and sick children.

I have a great passion to help abused and neglected children because of my past and the foundation is dedicated to a pressure little boy, Adam Turner, who came into our lives in 2005 and sadly lost his life to brain cancer on September 10, 2005. He was just 6 years old.
